Montiopsis sericea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Montiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Chili tengah dan utara-tengah. Nama ilmiah Montiopsis sericea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Jackson Hooker pada tahun 1993.
