Moquiniastrum argyreum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Brazil (Paraná). Nama ilmiah Moquiniastrum argyreum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Per Karl Hjalmar Dusén pada tahun 2013.
