Moraea vegeta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat-barat-daya. Nama ilmiah Moraea vegeta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1763.
