Mortonia diffusa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Mortonia diffusa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Nelson Rose pada tahun 1923.
