Muehlenbeckia australis merupakan tumbuhan perdu dari famili Polygonaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Pulau Norfolk, Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Muehlenbeckia australis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Forster pada tahun 1839.
