Muhlenbergia argentea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Muhlenbergia argentea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Vasey pada tahun 1886.
