Muhlenbergia distichophylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Muhlenbergia distichophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jan Svatopluk Presl pada tahun 1833.
