Muhlenbergia macroura adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Guatemala. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan muhly. Nama ilmiah Muhlenbergia macroura diperkenalkan oleh Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1935.
