Muhlenbergia richardsonis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mat muhly. Nama ilmiah Muhlenbergia richardsonis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Bernhard von Trinius pada tahun 1905.
