Muhlenbergia shepherdii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko utara. Nama ilmiah Muhlenbergia shepherdii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Vasey pada tahun 1947.
