Muhlenbergia strictior adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko utara dan tengah. Nama ilmiah Muhlenbergia strictior pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William James Beal pada tahun 1896.
