Salam koja adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rutaceae (suku jeruk-jerukan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Nama ilmiah Murraya koenigii diperkenalkan oleh Curt Polycarp Joachim Sprengel pada tahun 1825. Nama ini merupakan sinonim dari Bergera koenigii.
