Musa celebica merupakan tumbuhan pohon dari famili Musaceae (suku pisang-pisangan) yang memiliki batang basah (herba). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sulawesi Utara. Nama ilmiah Musa celebica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Otto Warburg pada tahun 1900.
