Mutisia lanigera merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Peru hingga Chili (Antofagasta). Nama ilmiah Mutisia lanigera diperkenalkan oleh Hugh Algernon Weddell pada tahun 1855.
