Myrceugenia cucullata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Myrtaceae (suku jambu-jambuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil selatan. Nama ilmiah Myrceugenia cucullata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carlos Maria Diego Enrique Legrand pada tahun 1957.
