Myrcia petrophila merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Myrtaceae (suku jambu-jambuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Bahia). Nama ilmiah Myrcia petrophila diperkenalkan oleh Marcos Sobral pada tahun 2015.
