Myrcia subavenia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Myrtaceae (suku jambu-jambuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Myrcia subavenia diperkenalkan oleh Otto Karl Berg pada tahun 1985.
