Myrica californica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Myricaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada barat daya hingga California barat. Nama ilmiah Myrica californica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Adelbert von Chamisso pada tahun 1831.
