Myriophyllum heterophyllum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Haloragaceae yang dapat tumbuh di media yang tergenang air (helofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian timur hingga Guatemala, Kuba. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan twoleaf watermilfoil. Nama ilmiah Myriophyllum heterophyllum diperkenalkan oleh André Michaux pada tahun 1803.
