Myrsine cubana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan, Amerika tengah, Florida, hingga Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan guianese colicwood. Nama ilmiah Myrsine cubana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alphonse Louis Pierre Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1841.
