Myrsine taitensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Society (Tahiti). Nama ilmiah Myrsine taitensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1862.
