Najas brevistyla merupakan tumbuhan tumbuhan air (hidrofit) dari famili Hydrocharitaceae yang hidup semusim. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Assam. Nama ilmiah Najas brevistyla diperkenalkan oleh Alfred Barton Rendle pada tahun 1899.
