Najas conferta merupakan tumbuhan tumbuhan air (hidrofit) dari famili Hydrocharitaceae yang hidup semusim. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kuba hingga Hispaniola, Panama, Brazil. Nama ilmiah Najas conferta diperkenalkan oleh Alexander Karl Heinrich Braun pada tahun 1868.
