Najas filifolia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan air (hidrofit) dari famili Hydrocharitaceae yang hidup semusim. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Georgia (Decatur County) hingga Florida. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan needleleaf waternymph. Nama ilmiah Najas filifolia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Robert Ralph Haynes pada tahun 1985.
