Najas halophila adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan tumbuhan air (hidrofit) dari famili Hydrocharitaceae yang hidup semusim. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Jawa hingga Queensland. Nama ilmiah Najas halophila mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 1988.
