Najas tenuis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan air (hidrofit) dari famili Hydrocharitaceae yang hidup semusim. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah India tengah dan selatan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar. Nama ilmiah Najas tenuis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Paul Wilhelm Magnus pada tahun 1870.
