Nama retrorsa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Utah tenggara hingga New Mexico barat laut. Nama ilmiah Nama retrorsa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Thomas Howell pada tahun 1949.
