Nama schaffneri adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko (Coahuila, Nuevo León). Nama ilmiah Nama schaffneri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1882.
