Nassella crassiflora merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Uruguay (Cerro de las Ánimas). Nama ilmiah Nassella crassiflora pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bernardo Rosengurtt pada tahun 1990.
