Nastus ambrensis merupakan tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Madagaskar utara-tengah. Nama ilmiah Nastus ambrensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Aimée Antoinette Camus pada tahun 1953.
