Nectandra oppositifolia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Panama hingga kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Nectandra oppositifolia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1833.
