Neja filiformis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil selatan hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Neja filiformis diperkenalkan oleh Curt Polycarp Joachim Sprengel pada tahun 1839.
