Neolitsea formosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sumatra. Nama ilmiah Neolitsea formosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Spencer Le Marchant Moore pada tahun 1925.
