Nepeta azurea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman) yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian timur dan timur laut. Nama ilmiah Nepeta azurea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Brown pada tahun 1834.
