Nephrolepis exaltata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan boston swordfern. Nama ilmiah Nephrolepis exaltata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Heinrich Wilhelm Schott pada tahun 1834.
