Nesphostylis holosericea merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Nesphostylis holosericea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Welwitsch pada tahun 1970.
