Neuracanthus africanus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan) yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania hingga Limpopo. Nama ilmiah Neuracanthus africanus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Anderson pada tahun 1880.
