Neurotheca congolana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Gentianaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup semusim (annual). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Rep. Kongo hingga KwaZulu-Natal. Nama ilmiah Neurotheca congolana pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1899.
