Newcastelia cephalantha merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Australia. Nama ilmiah Newcastelia cephalantha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1875.
