Nigella carpatha merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Ranunculaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kárpathos, Kasos. Nama ilmiah Nigella carpatha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Arne Strid pada tahun 1970.
