Nigella gallica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Ranunculaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Eropa barat daya. Nama ilmiah Nigella gallica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Claude Thomas Alexis Jordan pada tahun 1852.
