Nothofagus antarctica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Nothofagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili tengah dan selatan hingga Argentina selatan. Nama ilmiah Nothofagus antarctica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Forster pada tahun 1871.
