Nothofagus truncata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Nothofagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Nothofagus truncata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Colenso pada tahun 1926.
