Noticastrum adscendens merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Chili tengah dan selatan-tengah. Nama ilmiah Noticastrum adscendens diperkenalkan oleh Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1836.
