Nototriche purpurascens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Nototriche purpurascens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Arthur William Hill pada tahun 1909.
