Nyssa ogeche merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Nyssaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Alabama selatan, Georgia selatan, South Carolina bagian selatan, Florida utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan ogeechee tupelo. Nama ilmiah Nyssa ogeche diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Bartram pada tahun 1785.
