Ocotea foeniculacea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kuba hingga Puerto Rico. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan black sweetwood. Nama ilmiah Ocotea foeniculacea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Christian Mez pada tahun 1889.
