Ocotea mollicella merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kosta Rika. Nama ilmiah Ocotea mollicella pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sidney Fay Blake pada tahun 1990.
