Ocotea piurensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Peru utara. Nama ilmiah Ocotea piurensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Christian Mez pada tahun 1920.
