Ocotea portoricensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Puerto Rico. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan laurel de paloma. Nama ilmiah Ocotea portoricensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Christian Mez pada tahun 1889.
